The "LOVE LOCK" is a padlock which sweethearts lock to a bridge, fence, gate, or similar public fixture to symbolize their love. Typically the sweethearts' names or initials are inscribed on the padlock, and its key is thrown away to symbolize unbreakable love. Since the 2000s, love locks have proliferated at an increasing number of locations worldwide.

style stamp markings of years gone by.The rustic well made
lock is a unique way to represent the bond you have with that

To give the padlocks a old antique look and feel, they purposely have some surface rust to give the padlocks and skeleton keys an old patina look.
The padlock measures 3 1/2" tall x 2" wide and 3/4" thick.
It comes with two skeleton keys each measuring 2" long.

I cannot say enough about the quality of this item. It is beautiful and sturdy. So well made. The owner of the store obviously cares about his customers. I waited way, way too long to get this ordered for our 8 year wedding anniversary, and there was a strict deadline because we were going on a trip out of the country. I messaged the seller and he responded immediately and agreed to rush his processing time to make it happen for me. He could have easily said no because he had very little time and was also engraving both sides. But, he got it made and in the mail lightning fast. I was able to give it to my husband on our anniversary night in Paris. We left it on the love lock bridge before we left. It was a very special moment. I submitted my order pretty late- because I didn't know what to get my husband for our anniversary.. i wanted to find the perfect gift for our 6 year anniversay. By the time I saw this cool gift on etsy, it was like 4 days before my anniversary so I was definitely cutting it pretty close to get it in time but Pat did his best, worked his magic and shipped it promptly. I got it the day before my anniversay! It was actually a nostalgic moment as my husband got a lock engraved with our names and date on it when he proposed to me in Paris back in 2014 and we put the lock on the love lock bridge. The iron lock and engraving was great quality! Definitely recommend!!
